Terms of sale
These terms apply to pre-orders and payments made via baritalia-emporia.se. By placing an order you accept these terms.
Seller
Bar Italia — Emporia, an authorised reseller of Bar TGL Italia AB. Pickup is at our shop in Emporia Shopping Center, Hyllie Stationsväg 18, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden. Contact: info@baritalia-emporia.se, +46 79 343 37 02.
Order and confirmation
When you submit the form your request is received by us. You'll get a confirmation email with a summary. We reserve the right to decline an order if we cannot deliver at the requested pickup time — you will be contacted and any payment refunded in full.
Payment
You can choose to pay at pickup in store, or online in advance via Stripe. When paying online, the available payment methods (card, Klarna, etc.) are shown in the Stripe-hosted checkout. We never receive or store your card details — that is handled entirely by Stripe. A receipt is sent automatically to your email.
Pickup
Pickup is in our shop during opening hours (Mon–Sun 10:00–20:00). Please bring your confirmation email if you can. If you do not collect your order on the chosen pickup date it may be consumed or discarded — please contact us as soon as possible if you'll be late.
Cancellation and refunds
Gelato cakes and cheesecake must be cancelled at least 48 hours before pickup for a full refund, since they are made to order. For 6- and 12-flavour take-away tubs we accept cancellation up to the same day as pickup. On an accepted cancellation we refund the full amount via the original payment method. For late cancellation or no-shows we may charge a fee corresponding to the production and ingredient cost. Contact info@baritalia-emporia.se or call us to cancel.
Right of withdrawal
Under chapter 2, section 11 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen 2005:59), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to foodstuffs prepared to the consumer's specifications or with a substantially personal touch, nor to goods that may deteriorate rapidly. Gelato, gelato cakes and cheesecake fall under this exception and cannot be withdrawn from once produced. For cancellation before production, see above.
Allergens
Our products may contain milk, eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts and soy. Production takes place in premises where these allergens are handled — we cannot guarantee a trace-free result. Please note any allergies in the comments field when ordering and we'll help you choose suitable flavours.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen 2022:260).
Applicable law and disputes
Swedish law applies to the contract. If we cannot reach agreement you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se) or to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page at the time the order is placed.
