This policy describes how we process personal data when you visit our website or submit an inquiry via our forms.

What we collect
When you submit a pre-order we collect your name, email address, phone number, requested pickup date, product choice, flavour selections and any comments you provide. For a catering inquiry we additionally collect your event date and number of guests. If you pay online, Stripe processes your payment method (card details or similar) — we never see or store them ourselves. We do not collect anything beyond what you enter yourself.
Why we process it
The data is used solely to handle your order or inquiry and to respond to you. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) when you place an order, and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to inquiries.
How long we keep it
Order and inquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or anonymised. Accounting records are retained for 7 years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox via Resend (resend.com). Online payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) — you can read their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe may in turn transfer data to its service providers in the United States under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). We only share data with service providers under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
Cookies
We only use technical cookies required for the site to function. We do not use any cookies for analytics or marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to request access, correction or deletion of your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact info@baritalia-emporia.se to exercise your rights. You can also file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our operations or the law change. The current version is always published on this page.
